This can enable you to understand your target market and tailor your product/service development or marketing strategy in a value adding way. This is usually carried out when you have already started your business, have a customer base and looking to grow and increase profitability. It can also be applied in validating your idea by using your best judgement to create the persona, and with that understanding, reach out to these customers to see if at least three of them will be willing to pay for your product/service.
